"It's a Jungle Out There Baby" set

Here is the latest & greatest. Isn't this fabric just precious? I collaborated with my mother-in-law & sister-in-law, Jody & Kayla on this one for a present for a cousin's baby. Jody did the monogramming & Kayla made the matching wipee case. I added the fabric to the burp cloth & made the taggie, it has furry, mint green, minky on the back. About Me

So those who know me, know I love making stuff... I always have & without a doubt always will! I would prefer shopping at the craft store over the mall any day, seriously! I first learned to sew from my grandmother when I was a little girl, just basic things for my barbies and baby dolls, and would have continued to learn from her had she not passed away. I started trying to learn & relearn about 5 years ago, & with the help of my mother-in-law I have learned a lot! I love it and it has become an addiction for me, I am constantly thinking of things I could make & sneaking in time to make them! I don't have a ton of time with 3 kids, 2 of them under 2 years, but I have an incredibly sweet husband who encourages my passions & loves!

I hope to make this a business eventually, but for now I am just selling a little and learning as I go. I am making this blog mainly as a place to showcase my work, the old & the new. Taggies

My taggies are $20 or $25 with one monogrammed name. I make these extra strong, as I don't want anything else to worry about when it comes to the safety of my babes, just as I know you don't either! They measure about 11"x11", not including ribbon length, and can be backed with minky or satin. My babies love/loved chewing, rubbing, & playing with the ribbon. It will have a total of 20 DIFFERENT ribbons, with different textures to stimulate baby!
